The Corot Be stars group is in charge of the selection of Be stars as
additional targets in the programs of Corot. For this purpose, we searched:
- for faint Be stars in the exoplanet fields of Corot, thanks to a large
program of ground-based photometry and spectroscopy. This search is still
ongoing. The targets selected in this way will be used to perform
asteroseismology.
- for intermediate Be stars in the asteroseismology fields, to study the
effects of rotation and evolution on the Be phenomenon, and possibly
binarity effects.
